Our people

The people who built Cee4Bee.

The former website preserved names and role labels, but no reliable team portraits or confirmation of present-day appointments. This page honours that record without turning an archived roster into a current organisation chart.

A note on this page

These are the people who built Cee4Bee.

Everyone listed here has given time, expertise, or governance to the organisation. Roles have changed over the years, as they do in any volunteer-run charity, so treat this as a record of who has contributed rather than a current org chart.

Founders

Where it started

Cee4Bee was founded in 2015 by two people who saw that talent alone was not opening doors.

Founder

Ayo Akande

Co-founder and Strategic Delivery Lead

Ayo co-founded Cee4Bee in 2015 and has served as its Strategic Delivery Lead, shaping how the charity turns an idea for an evening into a room full of people who did not know each other beforehand.

By profession he is a project and programme management practitioner with more than twenty years’ experience across banking, the NHS and local government. He joined the Greater London Authority in 2019 to build the programme management office for its Skills and Employment Unit, growing the team from two people to fifteen, and has been Assistant Director of Skills and Employment (Delivery) since July 2023 — work that carries oversight of a delivery portfolio running to hundreds of millions of pounds, including the Adult Education Budget for Londoners.

That combination is why Cee4Bee events tend to have a structure behind the warmth. Someone has thought about who is in the room, what they need, and what happens next.

Founder

Dotun Olaleye

Co-founder and Organisation Development

Dotun co-founded Cee4Bee in 2015 and leads on organisation development. He has hosted Cee4Bee evenings from the front of the room, including The Time to Start is Now in January 2018.

A Fellow of the ACCA with more than twenty-six years of public sector experience, he has led Tridan Business Concepts Ltd for over ten years as Managing Director and Principal Consultant. He specialises in finance consultancy, strategic growth and performance transformation for education and public sector organisations.

He has supported more than a hundred schools and academies, managed complex multi-academy trust projects and delivered international consultancy. That expertise combines deep sector knowledge with practical leadership to improve financial governance, operational efficiency and sustainable growth — the same things a charity needs if it is going to outlast the people who started it.

The early volunteers

The people who gave their time at the beginning.

Cee4Bee ran on volunteers in orange shirts long before it ran on anything else. These are some of the people who set out the chairs, worked the door, and stayed to clear up.
